The Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab—represented by Director Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique and students—participated in a key pre-conference event for the 16th International Conference at University of South Asia, Lahore, on 16 January 2026, with the Pakistan Psychological Association.
Titled “Strengthening Teachers’ Emotional Well-Being: Building Empathetic Educators for Student-Centered Learning,” it featured VC Honourable Mian Imran Masood as Chief Guest and keynote by Prof Dr. Rafia Rafique, President PPA, on stress management, empathy, self-compassion, and supportive policies.
Panel focused on teachers’ burnout and compassionate classrooms.
