LAHORE: (Wednesday, October 15, 2025): Punjab University and University of Engineering and Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote collaborative academic and research activities aimed at advancing knowledge and innovation for the greater good. The MoU signing ceremony was held at PU VC’s office committee room. On this occasion, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, UET VC Prof Dr Shahid Munir, Pro-VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood and others were present. According to this agreement, both institutions will mutually share and utilize certain products, technologies, and materials developed by their respective faculty, researchers, and students. The collaboration will focus purely on academic excellence, innovation, and resource optimization without commercial motive. The institutes will facilitate exchange and utilization of specialized research products for academic and developmental purposes and promote interdisciplinary research and innovation through shared resources. This MoU marks an important step toward building stronger academic linkages between PU and UET, enhancing research quality, and contributing to Pakistan’s technological and scientific advancement.
